‘Got, Not Got’ media mania! Today Harborough FM, tomorrow the world…

Listen in to Harborough FM at 1.30pm today, on the radio or the internet! That’s when Derek will be talking about ‘Got, Not Got’ and the smell of pipe smoke at half-time at Filbert Street (while Gary struggles against his deadline to finish The Fox).

Hot on the heels of yesterday’s news that Gary and Derek will be appearing at Waterstone’s in Market Harborough on Saturday, ‘Got, Not Got’ today hits media saturation point in the football nostalgia-crazed Leicestershire market town.

Early this morning, men who remember Frank Worthington, Subbuteo Astroturf and Esso World Cup coins were first spotted wiping away tears at Harborough newsagents when the local paper carried a heartwarming piece on the book (or maybe it was the Basil Brush panto giveaways).

At lunchtime, Derek appears on Harborough FM to discuss the all-time greatest must-have Christmas prezzies – Striker, an Admiral England kit, the Superfan Loudhailer – and why Action Man footballer was really a bit rubbish.

If you’re reading this tonight, or even a week next Tuesday, you can still tune in at www.harboroughfm.co.uk using the new-fangled ‘listen again’ facility.
