This year is going to be a busy one at Got Not Got Towers, what with six new books set to hit the shelves (note to selves: better start writing)… plus all the excitement of the arrival of punk rock, the Sex Pistols at number 1, the possibility of Watford gaining promotion, Queenie’s Jubilee, Alex Cropley lighting up Villa Park… Happy Days and Gangsters to look forward to on the box…
OK, that’s probably enough pretending it’s 1977.
But that’s not to say we’re giving up hope.
Here’s to a splendid New Year for one and all!
Meanwhile, hello to anyone out there who has got GNG for Xmas and has found their way to the blog (not forgetting the Facebook page) for the first time. Hope you’re enjoying the book. And the blog. (Not forgetting the Facebook page).
Oh yeah, and for anyone with a book token burning a hole in their pocket, you could do worse than considering a generously discounted copy of last year’s runner-up in Footy Book of the Year.
Last year’s model. (Cunning punk rock reference). Available from branches of WH Smith and Waterstones or online here…
