Umbro 1992-93 Collection…. Part Three

We continue our fantastic journey into the heart of the Umbro 1992-93 football kit catalogue…

While Scotland had a fairly traditional (at least from a distance) home strip the away kit was an outrageous piece of colouring in, using the salmon and purple crayons…

The same went for Ajax, all the experimentation being saved for the change strip, with a fairly conservative home design…

We love this Glentoran strip with it’s retro lace-up collar and shorts that can’t quite decide whether they are long or short.
And yes, we’re thinking of giving the lady model her own series…

If you are fond of kitology then you probably need to own a copy of ‘Got, Not Got’ … you can get it from branches of WH Smith and Waterstones or online here

  1. Los diseños para Escocia fueron espectaculares, los detalles interiores eran soberbios. La epoca de Umbro utilizando diseños escoceses en cuadrados era muy bueno.

Is it impossible to make a bad Ajax home shirt?
