Umbro 1992-93 Collection…. Part Two

A further flick through the Umbro 1992-93 Season catalogue…

The evolutionary Tottenham Hotspur kit that was introduced for the 1991 FA Cup Final – the first to bring back 1950s long shorts – though they don’t look particularly long now!

Both Sheffield clubs were sporting diamonds – Wednesday with this fairly conservative collection…

…Blades with the retro lace collars… they were to meet at Wembley in the FA Cup semi-final at the end of the season…

Evidence that England kits were used for many years back then – introduced in 1990 and still hanging in there… perhaps the classiest kit ever for the national team. A retro version has been re-issued.

If you are fond of kitology then you probably need to own a copy of ‘Got, Not Got’ … you can get it from branches of WH Smith and Waterstones or online here
