Darlington FC live to fight another day thanks to the strenuous efforts of the Darlington Football Club Rescue Group…
Administrator Harvey Madden was in the process of informing caretaker boss Craig Liddle and the players that the club was to be liquidated when he received a phone call from DFCRG with the news that they had managed to raise £50,000.
Following an emotional meeting at the Blackwell Grange Hotel, Madden agreed to give the club three more games to turn things round.
Liddle is now appealing to all football fans in the North East to help save the club and is thought to have contacted several clubs in the region regarding the loaning of players.
Good luck in the coming weeks Darlo.
